Vanilla Crescent Cookies

I wanted to give this recipe for Vanilla Crescent Cookies a whirl tonight. In my mind they would come out beautifully, and I would package them prettily for Christmas gifts. I don't know if it is because the air is so dry here in Utah or what, but I just couldn't get the dough to come together. It was just a big mess of nothingness. I guess I need to find a different recipe, but I am feeling rather defeated tonight.
