Since Tom is now home all day, every day, he has to make lunch for himself. For that one time in his life that he slaved over various Tiramisu recipes to come up with the most perfect one, a chef he is not.
I think he could avoid starving to death - that much is for sure. At least he could live on sunnyside up eggs, and maybe some hot dogs. And Kraft Mac & Cheese.
So I recommended a few (easy) suggestions for him to mix it up. I said, make some pasta, and saute it with a little Olive Oil and minced garlic.
I get home and he is ragging about being ready to eat his hands off. I say, I thought you made pasta for lunch? He says "It didn't turn out so well".
Turns out he put the pasta in the boiling water, and then added the garlic and the Olive Oil to the water.
Good Lord. What would this boy EVER do without me?! HA!

I'm not the world's greatest cook, but my DH would have died of starvation years ago if it wasn't for me.
I've been missing from blogland recently, so I'm playing catch-up at the moment. I'm sorry Tom was let to from his job, and that things aren't going well there. {{{hugs}}}
